Any creative who may be looking for ways to protect their online portfolio: in addition to Nightshade and Glaze, consider using Cara. This MIT Technology Review article by Melissa Heikkilä has a good summary of 4 ways to protect your art:
“It’s worth considering sharing your work on Cara (https://cara.app/explore), a new platform created in response to the backlash against AI. Cara, which collaborates with the researchers behind Glaze, is planning to add integrations to the lab’s art defense tools. It currently relies on the goodwill of AI companies to respect artists’ stated wishes, but it’s better than nothing.”
Props to Bluesky for helping me find Melissa & her article :)
