How real people around the world are using their wetware (brains and human intelligence) with AI-based software tools or being affected by artificial intelligence. (Audio; 2:08)
Interesting fact on the term „wetware“: I have first met the term many years ago thanks to the amazing work of Rudy Rucker (matematician, sci-fi writer, cellular automata programmer, professor). The term is the tirle of one of the books composing „The ware tetralogy“: software (1982), wetware (1988), freeware (1997), realware (2000). A reccomended reading for the summer.
Thanks for the callout Karen! 🙏 I’m excited about what we will learn from the interviews! 💗
I so appreciate you inspiring me to start the series, Rose. Learning about how AI is impacting real people is going to be so enlightening!

I've now changed 'coined' to 'used' and added a footnote to the article with this information. Thank you again, Roberto!
Very cool, Roberto, I didn’t know that history of the word! Thank you for sharing it 😊
