Mubert
Description from PitchBook: “Developer of a next-gen royalty-free music licensing platform designed to provide royalty-free music powered by AI. The company helps streamers, app builders, filmmakers, and content creators of all kinds to stand out from the crowd by providing them with unique, royalty-free music from real producers and musicians for their projects, enabling musicians and elevating content creators with quality music.”
Audiocipher positions Mubert as primarily a music licensing company using AI to support sampling and assembling arrangements from clips.
History and Partnerships
Mubert was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Dover, Delaware.
Key Features
Use TTM or choose “from a pre-determined set of Genres, Moods, and Activities”
“Content creators can leverage Mubert to effortlessly create soundtracks tailored to their videos, podcasts, and apps. Developers and brands can also integrate Mubert API into their projects to enhance their products with personalized, royalty-free music. Meanwhile, listeners can immerse themselves in a personalized music experience with "Mubert Play", selecting from a range of moods and genres.”
Mubert also has an “Explore” feature which allows listening to music based on moods, genres, themes, playlists, instruments, or speed (BPM).

Training Data & Technologies
“Using a vast library of millions of samples contributed by hundreds of real artists, Mubert's AI algorithms analyze and process this immense musical data to generate original, high-quality tracks in real-time.”
Mubert offers a "Search by Reference" feature where you can provide a YouTube Link to have a song of your choice as reference. This seems to leave the door wide open for unethical inclusion of content for which the user does not own the rights.
Ownership, Pricing, and Usage Rights
Mubert offers subscription plans as well as single-track purchase options. Plans include a free “ambassador” plan for generating up to 25 tracks/month, usable with attribution.
The Creator plan is $14/month and allows generating up to 500 tracks/month which can be used without attribution.
They also offer Pro and Business plans.
